Terms of service

Agreement
These terms apply to CBAM Data, the website at cbamdata.eu, the free calculator, the API and paid subscriptions. By using the service, you agree to these terms. CBAM Data is operated by SASU R SOCIETY, 15 rue des Halles, 75001 Paris, France.
The service
CBAM Data provides data and calculations about the European Union Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. Results use the dataset version shown with each response. They are an information tool, not legal, tax, customs or accounting advice. You remain responsible for checking the primary sources and filing the information required for your business.
Accounts and API keys
Keep your account details and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share a key, bypass a limit, probe the service, or use the service to harm another person or system. We may suspend access that threatens the service or breaks these terms.
Plans and payment
Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel them. Prices are shown at checkout and are in euros, excluding VAT where applicable. Stripe processes payments. A plan change or cancellation takes effect through the billing portal. We do not bill for API requests beyond a plan's included allowance.
Content and ownership
We own the CBAM Data service, software, branding and original content. You keep ownership of data you send to the service. You give us the limited permission needed to process that data and provide the service.
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service available and the data current. We do not promise that every result is complete, error-free or suitable for a particular decision. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or a decision made only from a CBAM Data result.
Ending access
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms, create a security risk or if we stop offering the service. Terms that need to continue, including ownership, payment and liability provisions, continue after access ends.
